Tiddlywinks

Sometimes Murphy’s Law takes hold
And lack of sleep
Becomes alarm clocks overslept,
Rushing out the door
Misplaced papers
And coffee stains on a new shirt
Murphy comes all at once
Like stampeding rhinoceros
And you a deer
But survival exists
In a face turned to the shoulder of God
braced for impact
Because God makes Murphy look like tiddlywinks
